Garden Climate
wanttogetupgoahead asked: Where do you guys live? What types of things can you plant in your climate?
We live in Santa Cruz, California and our house is only a couple blocks from the beach. Our USDA Hardiness zone is 9 and our sunset climate zone is 17 (our winters are not very cold, and our summers are not very hot).
We are pretty new to gardening, and aren’t really sure what is best...

New Additions
We have a bunch of Seascape variety strawberries (recommended by a few friends), and a few Eversweet strawberries.
Mammoth Melting snow peas. These guys have been waiting for a bigger pot for a while (since midterms have put garden store trips on hold) and they look a little bit sad.
